This policy explains how CADCAMly collects, uses, stores, and protects personal information and dental case data when you use our platform and design services.
2.Information we collect
Account and contact details you provide (such as name, organization, and email); case data you upload (intraoral scans, prescriptions, and case notes); and the technical data needed to operate the platform securely.
3.How we use information
To provide design services, operate and secure the platform, communicate with you about your cases, and meet our legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data.
4.Case data and confidentiality
Case data is stored in private, access-controlled storage with sanitized filenames and signed, audited access. Designers work on anonymized cases and never see your identity, billing, or original filenames.
5.AI and consent
We use AI operationally — for file prechecks, intake completeness, and QC support. Your case data is never used to train any model without your explicit, tracked consent.
6.When we share information
We share data only with service providers who help us operate the platform, under confidentiality obligations, and where required by law. We do not sell personal data.
7.Data retention
We keep personal and case data only as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal and accounting requirements, after which we delete or anonymize it.
8.Your rights
Depending on where you are, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. We will honor valid requests in line with applicable law.
9.Security
We use access controls, encryption in transit, and audited access. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and to notify you of material incidents as required.
10.Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the platform evolves, and material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
